Dear Customers,
As you may be aware, there have been recent announcements of strike action in BT and Openreach’s workforce to take place on Friday, 29 July and Monday, 1 August.
According to BT and Openreach’s response, if industrial action takes place, they will do everything they can to reduce interruptions to service by implementing tested continuity plans and processes used during the pandemic to help them manage the impacts of reductions in their available workforce.
What does this mean for you?
Whilst specific detail is not yet available from BT and Openreach on the services likely to be impacted by the strikes, we can assure you that we are taking proactive measures to minimize disruption to our customers and partners. These measures include potentially rearranging non-essential appointments on the strike days.
Where possible, we will be in contact with our partners and customers who may be impacted by these measures in the next few days.
We will continue to monitor the situation and work closely with BT and Openreach to ensure there are minimal impacts on our service. An update will be issued next week as the situation develops further and more information becomes available.
Kind regards,
Orbex Solutions Ltd
