IMPORTANT! Christmas telephony requirements
I am sure you are all very busy right up to the Christmas break and we appreciate that thinking about your telephony diverts and voicemail is not top of the agenda! However, its normally when you are shutting down the office for Christmas, that you then think about changing your message or want to ensure the closed greeting stays on over the long break.
The purpose of this email is to ask you to think ahead and let our Support department know of your requirements in plenty of time to allow our engineers do the necessary programming. It will help us to help you and ensure that we do not get inundated with requests at lunch time on Christmas Eve……as is normally the case!
For those of you that have a manual day/night button, this is not quite so important but for customers that have a time profile controlled auto attendant or night greeting, you may want to consider changing the greeting and ensuring the greeting plays through to January 2nd. Also, we can assist with diverting direct dial numbers to mobiles or other requirements which you would like to set up for the Christmas and New Year break, or disabling the current diverts that may be in place due to the pandemic and organising different call routing.
The following charges will not apply for telephone system maintenance customers that have the 15 minutes per day programming included in their annual contract. Please email your requirements through to services@orbex.co.uk by 15th December to ensure that the work can be completed on time. Any requests received before this date will be subject to our discounted rate of £44 + VAT per half an hour. If requests are received after this date, every endeavour will be made to accommodate your requirement’s but the work will be subject to our standard remote charge of £110 + VAT per hour. Orbex cannot guarantee completion of changes received on Christmas Eve. This applies only to the changes that can be completed remotely (message narration and recording not included).
Please do note that Orbex office will be closed on the 25th and 28th of December 2020 as well as on 1st of January 2021.
